Insurance software provider Insureflow today announces the appointment of Gemma Smith as Chief Operating Officer. Gemma brings over two decades of experience across the insurance sector, spanning underwriting operations, client service delivery and senior leadership at some of the industry's most prominent organisations.

Gemma joins Insureflow from Aon, where she served as Head of Client Service Delivery for the Global Broking Centre. Gemma was previously the Chief Operating Officer at Aon Underwriting Managers, the broker's specialist MGA division, where she led operations, including technology configuration and supplier management, governance, fiduciary matters, process optimisation and general leadership of the division as a member of the AUM Executive Team, and the broader UK Operations Leadership Team.

This breadth of exposure, combining direct operational experience at a specialist MGA with strategic visibility across a major global broker, gives Gemma a rare combination of skills she’s keen to apply at Insureflow.
